   Okay. Instead of slacking and simply using old subs to fulfill requirements to join the best guild ever, I am going to use new stuff for them. As moderator, I should set a good example. At least, a better example than the dumb dwarves, and the numbskull necromancers. And so, the requirements:
   
   Three location subs
   One location sub 3.5+
   Vote on 3 location subs
   One society sub
   freetext 'cartography guild' on subs
   
   well time to get cracking. :)

   Old subs would be a Guild breach of contract. It hasn't happened yet but punishment has to do with a sea urchin, 4 monkeys and an intoxicated manticore. You don't want to be that guy.
   
   Good luck on your quest. I know a guy who knows a guy that has a map that can put you on the right track!

   Sanguis Islands finished. Now I just need:
   
   Two Location Subs
   One location sub 3.5+
   Vote on 3 location subs
   One society sub
   freetext 'cartography guild' on subs.
   
   Well, I'll go take a peek at some location subs. Maybe I'll polish off that particular requirement tonight.

   Finished another location sub. Its called Exitium, check it out. Anyways, what I still have left:
   
   One location sub
   One location sub 3.5+
   one society sub
   fretext 'cartography guild' on subs
   
   Looks like the puzzles are fitting into pieces.
   Maybe I'll combine this week's fretext friday and a location sub requirement and write about the Cursed Elven Nation of ___. Or something.

   Do double brackets on both sides of your link in the forum and it will autolink with the main Citadel!
   
   And congrats on your continuing trek. I have stalled in the Dwarvern catacombs so am jealous of those that have continued their journey. You give me inspiration!

   Well, Exitium has done well for itself. Apparently strolenites like to read about a group of Viking-like people getting killed in a ruin. At the time of me posting/writing/whatever you call it, Exitium isat 4.17, which fulfills the location sub 3.5+ requirement. I'll keep an eye on it, and hope it doesn't go down. And this reminds me- how long does a sub have to stay higher than 3.5 to allow a person to be a cartographer? Potentially, future people could give it so many one that the sub his 3, thus meaning he was still a regular old guild-less strolenite. I'll have to modify that. Anyway, here are the remaining requirements:
   
   One location sub
   One society sub
   Free text 'cartography guild' on subs.
   
   As I said before, I'll do the mix of freetext Friday and requirements with the Plains Elves.

    I would say as long as it is 3.5 when you end your quest, that should be good enough.
    
    (Also, when you link on the forum, you have to use [[ double brackets on both sides. Just one of those small differences that are annoying.

    You use double brackets? But single brackets work for me. I just opened Exitium with the single. Does it not work for you?

    I have edited both your posts to make it work (see the last edited by on the bottom?). When you do double brackets then it recognizes it and turns it into an url. Experiment and see. :) That is only here in the forums though, main site is single brackets per normal as you well know!

    Wrote up the Plains Elves. As the name implies, a group of elves living on the plains. And so, this puts me down to:
    
    one location sub
    freetext 'cartography guild' on subs
    
    one more sub until I become a worthy member of the greatest guild ever! And can aspire to level two and beyond! Right now, I have no ideas bouncing around in my skull about how the location sub will turn out. I shall ponder on it. Anyway, for anyone who happens to read this, join the cartography guild, we offer world domination and cookies. And for any dwarves who happen to join, we offer ten cookies for a good map of your cave systems.

    Mathom has blessed me. I have successfully toyed with two sub ideas and discarded them, along with another idea, added a personal text on my forum profile, and now am writing this. What I should do is write the last location sub. The blessing Mathom has given me centers on that location sub. Sigh.
    
    Maybe if I center my last location sub on annoying someone ink will flow quicker. Maybe a realm of undead dwarves? A group of dwarves who read poetry and frolick in meadows? Some dwarves who swear off alcohol?
    
    Or perhaps if I peruse past locations?
    
    Anyway, I'll post here again when Mathom gets around to lifting his blessing on me and I finish my last location.

    I have done it. My latest sub, the Cartography Guild, which describes the headquarters of the most powerful guild in the world, has been unleashed. This fulfills the requirements.
    
    I AM NOW A CARTOGRAPHER!!! :D :twisted: 8) :twisted: :D
    
    Now that I have finished this quest, I need to level up through the Guild Hierarchy. In short, I should consider how you gain levels in the guild. I could make some sort of quest, like all the other guild's, but that seems bland. Perhaps a gladiatorial deathmatch...?
    
    From here on, I am a Cartographer, Minor Minion. I will add that presently.

    Check this thread out for some signature code, just have to update it to taste till seared. Turn over, update to taste for another 3 minutes and it should be done.
