   Unless I don't understand my site, I can't find any subs with "newbie" associated with them.
   
   
   That directly goes to the "I am Newish" page that (while not that good and needs work) would list all these newbiecentric submissions.

   I may or may not have newbie locked down as a freetext so different rights might be required to add it. But if you know of any subs that need to have the "newbie" freetext readded to them. Please update them or add a link to it here so we can repopulated that page!

   Strolen, I don't know what do you have in mind exactly when you say "newbiecentric sub" so what I say here might or might not be helpful given that they are based on my own interpretation of what it should be about. Basically, I think of a newbiecentric sub. as one that gives the readers info. on either the functionality aspect of Strolens or the expectations and community feel of the Strolenati or both. For example, MoonHunter's "5 good tips on posting on  Strolens" are currently on the "I am creating" page but potentially, it would also be useful to newbies given that it gives a glimpse into the expectations placed on Normal subs on Strolens. I am not saying that I have a problem with these kinds of subs being grouping under there per se but potentially these can also go into the "I am Newish" page, in this sense there is a strong overlap b/w the I am Newish and I am Creating pages. Another example is the explanation of a Normal Sub vs. Codex/Scroll/Idea/Stub, which I see as a basic part relating to the functionality of posting on Strolen, and again this is currently on the I am creating page.
   
   Additional relevant info:
   1. I ran a search on subs under the Citadel Help and then the Rules and Advice category. I can't find any specific subs that I think would qualify as a newbie sub.
   2. I personally think the Bad Example freetext and all its associated subs would be of value in illustrating the expectations that Strolenati place on the 'quality' of subs. In fact, I thought that was its purpose for being created (although I'm not 100% sure of this given that I wasn't on Strolen when it was first conceived and I never actually contributed to it). However, I don't think it makes sense for these kind of subs to be linked to on the I am Newish page.
   3. A couple of weeks ago when EmilioV just joined and shouted out for a Newbie FAQ, I pointed out the I am Newish page to him and I did think there was a missing links problem on there. In fact, I submitted a bug report abt this issue then. However, looking across the I am Creating and I am Helping pages, I found that many of the links that I thought existed on the I am Newish page are in fact on those two pages instead. As a result, I retracted the bug report I put in. Thinking back, it might have been that we never had direct links to subs on the I am Newish page (but I can't swear to this given that I had been missing in action on Strolens for 2 yrs after we move from v.2 to v.3)

   Perhaps choosing a few subs to add the "good example" text to would be helpful as well. Sometimes for a new member, seeing what we consider "good/great" can be just as important as seeing what we don't like.
   
   Perhaps using some of the Golden subs, or quest winners to add the "good example" text to would work well?
