I just soiled myself looking through this.

    http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/

It has almost everything I have been wanting build in. ....drrrrooooollllllll......

Now I just need to nail down a cleaner design and we are solid!

    I agree.

Finally they got responsive. In sort of beta and due out next year but I am using it!

With the forum refresh and seeing this (my past try was a combination of boilerplates and would rather just use 1) I am going to retool my 4.0 start. (http://strolen.com/main4)

Current site is impossible to theme and/or change color schemes and such. With bootstrap 2.0 I will have a solid base that professionals are constantly fixing and it uses Less so I can make a new color scheme in css with a few variable changes and a recompile.

Going to start without much of a design and do a good code review as I port it over. As we have seen, it needs that too. Then once the ebook design is done we can really move into the site redesign.

So very slow and steady. Don't expect any drastic changes anytime soon. As I move code and update it I will update any features on the current site that I get working on the beta. By the time we transfer over it should only be a graphic change.

You all knew with the logo change the site would have to change too...didn't you?

I'm loving the concept of Bootstrap. I read the link when you posted it earlier and went, "Perfect! Just what I need!"

I shall be using it myself for some projects, so poke me if you want any collaboration.

Poke. More than happy to share access. Right now I can't figure out why my tabs aren't fading in and out like the demo.

Linkage to the sample page? Or are you doing a local copy?

It is there in my more recent post above and also in the ramblings thread about 4.0.

It appears you've solved the tabbing problem. Mis-written selector?

No, the tabs weren't the issue, it is the cool fade between states that the downloadable demo pages do. In theory it should only require a "fade" class to be added. But when I add it the entire tab won't appear at all, although it resizes correctly for it.

I chalked it up to beta and moved on.

I'd be happy if I could find "old version" docs. I've got apps written in 2.x that I'll need to reference the docs for after 3.x comes out, and the main page won't be correct for my setup anymore.

I think I have one or two bookmarked. It was a complaint on reddit or somewhere about lack of old documentation and a few people had cloned it somewhere.

The main docs seem like they are all jacked up anyway. They don't render for me correctly. Haven't troubleshot, but same on linux laptop and desktop. I don't use them that often but the icons would be handy if I knew what they looked like.

Well, I suppose it wouldn't be too hard to fork it, since it's hosted on Github. I'll probably go looking for it in the near future, because that would be handy.

As for the icons, http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/base-css.html#icons doesn't render the icons next to the CSS class name? That sounds like a browser rendering issue. They use a spritesheet and adjust the background-position based on the class.

Until just now, it was simply rendering a bulleted list. Now I see that it was missing a ton of rendering prior but it is all working now. Wonder if I had a bad css cache that just got updated or something. Didn't care enough to investigate but now that I see how it is suppossed to be, will play with my desktop when i get home!
