-js includes reorganized
-submission auto finds linked subs for linkback now
---When you link something in your submission [sub name] or any other, it will create a link from that sub back to the sub you just wrote and add it in suggested subs under it.
-cleaned up suggestion database of duplicates

-Upgraded Citadel to codeigniter 2.0 and PHP5
-Made pop-up to show summary on link backs in right column
-Same pop-up comes up when you go over the right column Citadel dragon on person's Citadel experience
-Reformatted the big gaudy codex listings
-Add notice to authors that they can upvote comments
The Citadel upgrade was huge. I also spent about two hours trying to figure out to make the codices do a modal window to view them that would be loaded as needed vs. loading it all in one fell sweep. Couldn't get it to work so reverted. Oh well. Moving on as I am not wasting more time with that, will have to come up with something else.

-Updated sumbission css to be actually useful to the making of organized subs - a start, living document
-Made it so writing the sub actually looks like it will when you submit it in regards to the css!!
-Fixed broken search from codeigniter upgrade (thanks Mystic)
-Created new subcategory under Articles -> Citadel Help
-Fixed some author finding issues ( MJS :) )
-Added ability to UpVote ideas in footer of page
-Made silly pictures on frontpage into sprites for faster loading
-minimized the css a bit (the file was frick'n 1944 lines reduced to 772)
Guarantee there will be more today. Time to cook some burgers! -

...um, yeah. Not much done today. But, when you think of my design abilities, I conquered Rome by doing that much!

Now we can make normal size quest banners that will fit nicely in there.
ADDITIONALLY:
Do you have a world, a region, a post, or maybe just a sub that you like. Then feel free to make a banner for it and I will slap it up there! I think it would be fun to advertise some of our own posts...or others. I will probably make a ad or two for a couple posts. Mathom comes to mind. -

Did a lot of thinking...didn't do much good but lost a lot of paper through the engagement
What I did realize is that my mood and motivation is way too random to be put on a schedule. I seem to do what I want when I want without much control over it. I ate some twizzlers.

the momentum wherever it leads for these last couple days.
-Put up the random banners for sub advertisement
--Will build a banner for every gold submission (Thank MJS for that suggestion)
--Feel free to make you own, will use it
--Obviously banner will have some requirements. Either large Region/Freetext or probably Golden will get it. Anything else?
-Put some HoH and Golden links at the top of the category browsing level
--Either that or recode an entire new interface for it and I am too drunk for that...plus, not sure it is needed
Crashing. Drank too much and, well, I shouldn't be messing with the site right now. I will be much safer sleeping. If I was a real developer I would have a local version all hacked together and there wouldn't be any worry about live site breakage. Did that in Balad but reformat too often here to put it all together...and I am lazy! Going to get an early start tomorrow. I have a large list and only one day to do it in :)

-Created the full fledged HoH and Golden pages.
--Get to them through the library dropdown
--Also made a banner for the Golden
-Added Creative Common Copyright selection to the posts. Not required, but an option.
--Will show up on the sub under the updated status. Just the small graphic

Posted to the other thread some other details. Won't repeat them.
I got the HoH and Golden set up in the Achievements database. Everybody should be solid in their ranking. It is number of posts you have HoH'd...not the amount of HoH you got. Large difference in some cases.
Goldens. If you have something with >= 3 Golden votes you will get the prize. Even if it dips down to 2 again. You were golden if only for a little bit! :) That is NOT retroactive, that is from now on.
It took me about 2 hours and a solid 700+ lines of code to get the HoH and Golden to grab the new votes and figure out if you earned an award. That is why you didn't see anymore Awards pop up today as I hoped. That and my son making chocolate chip cookies and then brownies while I was coding...and using salt instead of sugar because I wasn't supervising. We ruined the cookies so tried a batch of brownies with the same result. I didn't get my fix! :) In his defense, the salt was in a ziplock bag so I guess it looked quite a bit like sugar to an 11 yr old. Oh well.
PS. When you HoH and/or Gold a sub, let me know when/if there are errors. Couldn't really ops check it. Thanks for being guinea pigs! -

Awards show up on the Citadel author page. That page is still due a redesign with a few other statistical additions so that will come on the slow train.
Have 4 kids in the house today so didn't get all that much accomplished. Wife is home in three hours and have to decorate for her birthday. Freetext bug will have to wait till later (unless I sneak it in).
The week is drawing to a close. All said, I am satisfied with what bits I got done. Not quite 3.5 quality yet. I think once I get all the awards set up and polish a few other things on my list then it will make the version jump.
Good news is that school is done! Will be able to happily hack away for an hour or two a day so feature creep will continue at a good pace.
