Guardian of the Citadel
#1Most of you know my primary job here is to create bugs and I think I do it quite well. There have been a few dry spots where I wasn't as proactive at breaking the site but other times I am really on my game. The Bug Bounty Quest thread shows just a small bit of my handy work.
Well the daily refresh that was such an issue. Looking at PMs and threads I show the refresh broke maybe as early as September. It was hard broke in December, that is pretty certain and I was trying to fix it. Many may have noticed it getting more reliable in early January with only a couple hiccups through those months since then. In reality, the daily refresh was just as broke in February, March and April as it was in December. That bug wasn't officially fixed until.....around 20 April!?!?
Why am I going over all this? Well, I'll be telling ya! :)
Silveressa was our clockwork refresh for a solid three months. She diligently and patiently reset that damn thing ever single day for us. From the comments when I actually fixed it, she did a better job than the automated system, her timing was more accurate!!
She asked if she could help at one point and I said yes thinking it was going to be a short span and I would get it fixed. Three months later she is still reseting nightly and didn't swear at me once.
For these incredible actions, have created "The Guardian of the Citadel" Award and Silveressa is the first recipient.
This new award represents actions and deeds that Strolenites perform in defense of the Citadel go well beyond normal expectations.
This is the first Citadel award, but it won't be the last. There are many others that have done some outstanding things in support of the Citadel and they will be recognized.
For now, thank you Silveressa for maintaining the integrity of the system for all that time. Your patience with me was saintly! A second small token with the award is the granting of 1000xp for her actions, the most one-time XP ever awarded for a deed, and she earned every single one of them.
Thank you!!

#7*Curtsies*
No task to challenging or arduous in service of the citadel I call home. :D
Thanks for the Xp and the new award, I hope to see many fellow Strolenites wearing the same badge of honor someday. :)
(Yes I;m replying about 3 months late, however tbh I thought I'd replied to this way back when, but apparently it didn't post, lousy Google Chrome gremlins. >.
