Out of It Lately

1. Out of It Lately

Sorry for my scarcity. Job requirements and many business trips are taking me out of the loop. Problem is the hotel I stay at most frequently has no internet so I am screwed. Next week will suck and so will the week after that. Gone more than I am home.

I am a big part of the Muro Awards so they may be delayed till like April 1st... wouldn't that be appropriate though?

I just don't have the time right now to spend any quality time online.

Just wanted to let you know that I am not gone by choice!! Muro Awards will come, ebook will come...it will all come together for us!!!

   Don't lose hope with me!

April 1st would indeed be highly appropriate!

Ebook can wait. Quality, not speed of effort, is the key there me'thinks.

Stay sane Strolen. No worries.

You are doing an excellent job, Strolen. Hang in there and stay sane despite of Italian network conditions.

Germany isn't as cool a location, but those German bastards sure know infrastructure. Perhaps Munich next time? ;P

   Added Munich bonus: Manfred.

Or perhaps just relax on those Italian beaches, looking at the bella donnas (and they are muchos bella), sipping fine italian red and slurping spaghetti? =D

Talking about bella donnas, here is an interesting excerpt from the Wikipedia entry for Belladonna, or Nightshade as it is known as in English:

The common name belladonna originates from its historic use by women - Bella Donna is Italian for beautiful lady. Drops prepared from the belladonna plant were used to dilate women's pupils, an effect considered attractive. Belladonna drops act as an antimuscarinic, blocking receptors in the muscles of the eye that constrict pupil size. Belladonna is currently rarely used cosmetically, as it carries the adverse effects of causing minor visual distortions, inability to focus on near objects, and increased heart rate. Prolonged usage was reputed to cause blindness.

Sure, waiting till the 1st of April will be fine, by then I should have more time to spend on here as well, right now I'm busy with the thankless job of upgrading/rebuilding a few computers for friends. *shrugs* At least it pays well!  :D
