   What about a badge that is permanently attached to the first few subs of any user? Or even a counter showing what number sub it is for the particular user? I have come across subs of varying quality for longtime users and it would be helpful to see it in terms of a progression of skill over time.
   
   Speaking as a relative newbie, I must say that I prefer honesty to "playing nice." When I was first investigating this site two things stood out for me. First was the tremendous quality of the work and second was the way that authors would incorporate criticisms to improve their subs (which I assume had an impact on the overall quality.) Obviously I understand not wanting to scare new users away, but on the other hand I am here to share my ideas and to learn. I've only written 2 subs so far, but I feel like the feedback I received has made them better than they were originally. Even before I wrote the first one, I learned a few lessons just from reading the feedback on others' subs.

   I do, too! Being able to view, at a glance, what number sub out of how many subs the user has would be a pretty neat function. Not sure if it should just display a sub # or if it should update to include the user's total number of subs. Like #1/100 for the first sub of a user with 100 subs. More brains!

   Me, too. I'd like some way to flag subs that need a comment. Perhaps a way to click on a spot on the home page and be taken to a list of subs that need a comment. Or subs that have less than three comments, or something. That way, if I have some extra time, I can click on it and be taken to a sub that needs an in-depth comment.

   For the comments, you have to do it by type (Items, etc) but you can sort by comments ascending and see the lowest commented subs. I had them on the frontpage but I think there got to be too many tabs. Only had ones with no comments but they never lasted long so they rarely showed anything.
   
   Open to thoughts on what to put in the tabs though. Just keep in mind that it is also to entice first time visitors so HoH and Goldens need some love there. They may need some love elsewhere too.
