   In theory, you will see the text in your Citadel Profile.
   
   
   Options I will start with will be:
   
   
   -All New Posts
   
   -All New Comments
   
   -New Comments on your posts.
   
   -New Comments on posts you commented on.
   
   These are basic boolean switches. Will code them to show on/off basically. Will change the setting by clicking on them. This is tons easier for me than coming up with a form with selections so doing it this way. In the future if we get more stuff where we actually need a control panel then I will update it then.
   
   Basic question. These too broad? I will put a constant From and starting subject so they should be easy to filter in email.
   
   I believe I will put the summary of the submissions in the email and actually email the full comment...not the vote though. I honestly think I might have this done tonight.
   
   There will be no stopping it like in the forum where you get one email and if more comments come you don't get notified. For now it will email for every time. Same subject though so easy sorting and deleting. Once we get the "New Posts" type thing working in the Citadel I can incorporate that and emails can get a little smarter.
   
   Thoughts or requests? I am pushing forward with this if not.

   The comments "should" be working.
   
   The choosing of what emails you want to get DO work. Go ahead and set them up if you wish. Comments should start getting emailed immediately...assuming people comment that is.
   
   Still rough on the formatting but that will come tomorrow.
   
   I will get the Submission notifications up tomorrow but figure the comments were the big ones.
   
   Let me know if they seem to be working....or not working. :)

   In theory...this should work now.
   
   Just finished with the subs.
   
   Added an OK html template to send them out with. Works for now. ;)
   
   Update your settings in you Citadel Profile and let me know what happens!!!

   It seems to be working without a problem so far, another major improvement to the citadel!  8)

   I think its great! And the fact that you can have the notifications on or off is pretty cool!
   
   I "plussed" a comment tonight for 5xp, and am now wondering if that fits in under "reply to comment" notification...
   
   If I plussed a comment let's say, without actually replying with a comment, would that qualify for an  email? Just curious

   I'm pretty sure no, unless you respond with a comment either a reply or new comment entirely) the system won;t fire off an email alert to anyone.

   True, only an actual comment will push an email.
   
   I am still working out the table to track all those extra tidbits from quests to comment plus ups to daily XP for logging in. I would love to have a system that logs those so when you visit the site you can see the accumulation. Otherwise, unless you just happen to check or notice, you will never know if somebody upvotes one of your comments, etc.
   
   That will have to be made first and then I will add on to that the achievement system that was also discussed. Lots of work for me. :) Love doing it!!
