#1Creating the Strolen Book: Lets get this show on the road.
We are going to create a well formatted pdf ebook showcasing the best of the Citadel. Any profit made will be redirected towards the Strolen community.
This will be a dress rehearsal for a paper and ink tome that will stand as a glorious and eternal testament to the resplendent halls of the Citadel. (hyperbole mode off now - honest)
The motion was raised five years ago, but ( and I write this with great personal shame) the task was never carried through.
This time, we are harder, meaner, wiser, and a helluva lot crazier. So we're going to do this.
I hereby take a public pledge:
I, dark_dragon, on this day pledge to support our benevolent leader in creating, with the help of my fellow citadelians, a Strolen's Citadel ebook before the first of July 2011, and a paper book available through a print on demand service before the first of May 2012.
I further pledge funds up to 50GBP for the promotion and distribution of the dead tree artefact.
May the great Llama king feast on my entrails should I dishonour my pledge.
Woah! That came out all serious and stuff. Well, there it is.
I am going abroad for two weeks tomorrow, And look forward to getting started in the new year. In the meantime, please quote me for non-repudiation (QFT me), or take a pledge of your own!

I, the mightiest Pieh, on this day of days, I do, I say, I do declare that come a thousand Hells, rivers of blood, or simply the clutches of Mathom's blessed curse, will do what is within my power to assure there is a release of a Strolen's Citadel ebook before the first of July 2011, and a paper book available through a print on demand service before the first of May 2012.
I can pledge no cash nor experience point rewards for your troubles, but I can pledge to use my PC, complete with semi-functional keyboard and mouse, to create whatever content is called from for me to lend a hand on.
May the biggest of Llamas take up residence in my lower intestines should I fail to honor my pledge.
Well, damn. Let's spill some blood, a little ink, and get to it!

#5I wanna see some of the stuffs we've written get printed up nice and pretty.
I, Pariah, do solemnly swear to support the creation of this ebook, and with the help of my fellow Stolenites, will see it come to fruition before the first of July 2011, and a paper book available through a print on demand service before the first of May 2012.
