   a bit like a  light saber, but appears black in broad daylight and invisible in the shadows, bonuses to hiding. Thoughts? Worth making into a submission?

   As described, it is a light saber of a different color. I would unfortunately say no.
   
   If you made it into some sort of energy absorbing blade, that is black because it devours all light that falls upon it and no one really knows what it looks like, and it had to be made by a master bladesmith who was also blind... that might be more interesting

   Anyway, it was done before in the [30 Swords] submission with the Arm of Night's Reach.
