Re: Cannot Edit Submissions with ' in title.
#4I did update your freetext to remove the ' as that won't really work. Working on the sub page now to see what the ' do to it.

Re: Cannot Edit Submissions with ' in title.
#5Will explain a little...
the ' is an evil character when it comes to web addresses and code and databases. Much of the PHP I use is surrounded by ' and the ' starts and ends sections of database queries. SO, by default with some of the code I have, the ' is stripped or turned into
but only if the cleaner is ran first, which in some cases it isn't. Doesn't make it less secure as it still doesn't go anywhere, but causes these errors occasionally.'
So I am hunting. -
Re: Cannot Edit Submissions with ' in title.
#6I went through all your Kel'Regar posts (I think) and edited them through the Citadel submission form to have the freetext read Kel-Regar.
I updated a couple things on the submission page to better bypass the title check on edits. Still not sure why the ' did that.
If it does it again just try submitting a second time. Without fail I had it submit on the second "Submit" after the error. Then it definitely knows it is editing and seems to correctly bypass the title check. Not sure what the deal is but it only did it a couple times and I couldn't figure it out in time. It very well might be the even or odd amount of ' that makes it happen. :)
Either way, should work now with the work around or initially. Let me know when you are Region Ready!!!
