Cut n' Paste
#1Hi everyone, glad I found this little outpost!
With all the like-minded folks around here I'm betting I could just cut-and-paste my intro from those below me, but...
... eh, why not - let's give it a shot! :o
Hi.
I was looking around for something entirely different when I happened across this here citadel
I must say, the site looks promising, especially for someone who has
been playing rpg's since I was 13
I've been reading here for quite some time, but thought I should stop lurking and actually make a quick hello.
As a long time DM (Since 1985) I am always on the lookout for interesting articles and likeminded folks to correspond with.
World building is one of my favourite things to do, and I often find myself lost in the details of some fragment of my imagination.
As RPGs go I am a fan of
the low fantasy / sword & sorcery side of it
These days, I live far from my old gaming groups and play most of my games online
So, um, yeah, here's me in all my obnoxiously pretentious
t-shirt, shorts, and barefeet.
Consider me a good omen. The gods love scribes and scribblers.
I am looking forward to shamelessly plundering the site for resources and ideas and
I look forward to contributing to this place
Couldn't have said it better myself!

#2Welcome to the wonderfulness of here, ignore the gibbering keybergoos in the corner over there and I'm sure you'll have a long and prosper... prospor... gainful existence here. -

#5I think you have won whatever intro contest we will now develop around this submission!
Thanks for the great intro (and thanks to past authors who provided the fodder).
Let your plundering continue, only now with a name to associate with it!!
