Re: Cron Job Dump

#2

His last login time wasn't updating for some reason. Maybe he has to hit the forum and he doesn't....will have to check that later. Second run he was listed and updated.

Re: Cron Job Dump

#3

So, "Post count" is actually public submissions + ideas, huh?

If you add ideas, perhaps you should add scrolls?

Re: Cron Job Dump

#4

Why do you think it is ideas? It is only post count...

Re: Cron Job Dump

#5

Because when I enter the front page and look at the users, like me or Muro or Scras, I get a count of submissions on the user profile page. For me that number is 62, but I know I have 3 ideas posted (and 62 +3 = 65, which is my "post count" as seen above), so my guess was that ideas was that extra bit that made the difference.

Re: Cron Job Dump

#6

Not the profile page, the "show all submissions" page. http://strolen.com/browse_author/MoonHunter/0

MoonHunter has 648, but his total count says 653.

http://strolen.com/browse_author/Murometz/0

Now Murometz has 63, but his post count says 81 and I know he loves posting ideas.

Tataah!

Re: Cron Job Dump

#7

I've always wondered about that number. I have 63 posts and 6-7 idea seeds or something, definitely no more than 8 idea seeds. So I'm not sure why it says I have 81 subs.

I guess this includes public in-works? Otherwise, my best assumption is that the # includes collaborations? Yes?

as a side note, the profile shows "0 idea seeds".

Re: Cron Job Dump

#8

Ahh, I see.

I ran the submission count update script. The discrepancy is this.

On the profile page, I do an actual count(*) on the submission (which I probably shouldn't but that is for another day) whereas on the cronjob I grab the number that is updated in the user database. So my miscoding all the adds/updates/deletes/status change there is a code bug somewhere that miscounts or doesn't decrement or something.

Your profile is correct, now the cron has updated the rest so it *should* be OK now. On the bug sheet but for now will set a reminder to run the number update once a month or so to make sure it is accurate.

Thanks for the catch!

Also, Muro, your profile shows 6 Idea seeds, I don't know what you are talking about. ;)

PS, no on collaborative works, only those that you were the only or submitting author.

Re: Cron Job Dump

#10

Strolen( 2 ) 5093 + 1 = 5094

wait, you were the SECOND member on Strolens? Do tell. There has to be an interesting story there. :)

Re: Cron Job Dump

#11

....and that was when I was when I reloaded phpBB for the half dozenth time while in forum experimental rage and the #1 admin was corrupted. I couldn't get into the forum to save my life so I made a second admin account and that is the one that stuck. Victim of my own tinkering...yet again. :)

(PS I just loaded the jquery UI and put up the new accordian on the author page. I didn't like how for people like Cheka the HoH list was unmanageable. One of the many minor UI enhancements that will subtley make there way in. Excited for the calendar pop-up when adding quests and eventually the drag/drop sort options in the Regions too.)

Re: Cron Job Dump

#12

calender pop-up for Quests sounds pretty cool!!

Re: Cron Job Dump

#13

Turned off one of the cron jobs as it was running twice. Not sure when the daily highlight disappeared but figured I would run the cron to see if it was still working correctly. Here is the product of it for just in case when I look at it later.
