Winter/Spring Quest Brainstorming (and Poll)

1. Winter/Spring Quest Brainstorming (and Poll)

   #1

   Hold-Overs from previous Quest Brainstorming
   Secret Societies
5 in 1 sans heavy rules
   Tattoos and Magic
   Aerial/sky
   Genre Franchise (trek etc)
   Summer Festivals
   Alcoholic beverages
   Rebellion/Revolution/Revolts
   Agricultural/farming

And the real reason I started this topic is: I'd really like to see what the authors of the citadel could come up with for "The Zombie Apocalypse!", so I want to throw this into the hat for the next quest also!

   Zombie stuff
Specialised tools: http://zombietools.net/. (For the record, I personally advise against any weapon that leads to you being showered in contaminated zombie guts, but there you go...)

I like the Zombies idea, it would balance out nicely against all of that happy holiday cheer

Maybe not good for Winter quest, but I would eventually like to see 'Way of the Fist', gear and systems for the hand-to-hand fighter. ;)

Otherwise, I like booze and Zombies.

5. Winter/Spring Quest Poll (Vote!)

Booze and zombies. Reminds me of strolencon 07'

A poll now appears at the top of this thread. Vote often and vote hard!

   cheers for the poll Muro!

Siren, thanks for the idea: I think I might just try to write up a way-of-the-fist martial system designed against... zombies, of course.

8. Re: Winter/Spring Quest Brainstorming (and Poll)

We have 9 votes with Zombies in a slight lead over Way of the Fist. Poll re-opening for 48 hours, in case anyone hasn't had a chance yet to vote. Next week we can kick it off!

Sorry to override the extended vote, but when the thoughts are rolling, I am not jumping off the truck. :)

    Thanks!

the zombie logo is too damm cool for the Quest to be anything but zombies now anyway

Oh maaan! Tattoos were on the MOVE, going in for the KILL! I was sure everyone was going to vote on them now that I voted on them! :p Haha ;)

I am just not feeling this zombie quest. :(

15. Re: Winter/Spring Quest Brainstorming (and Poll)

I know what you mean, Siren.  Zombies is one thing, but I don't dabble in apocalypse scenarios often enough apparently. I've had a few brief ideas. Overall, I hate to say it, but this Quest just doesn't inspire me much.

Poor zombies never get the love they need. Just a bullet to the head.

17. Re: Winter/Spring Quest Brainstorming (and Poll)

I'm gonna attribute the lackluster response to the fact that most of us are too heavily immersed in the fantasy genre to conceive of appropriate apocalyptic scenarios  featuring classic zombies out to devour cheerleaders.

    mmmm... cheerleaders

WE need to put that quest to bed properly though - there were some submissions. Did I miss the vote?
