User Reputation

1. User Reputation

I'm active on two other non-gaming/writing related forums. They have an option for giving members 'reputation' for writing good or relevant material. They also have the option to give negative reputation for the opposite.

   I like this idea.

One of the sites has a limit on how often you can give one person rep, + or - so that would be a good thing to have.

The forum has "Karma" that can be turned on and renamed with a flick of the forum admin switch. For your amusement, feel free.

Main site I am more leaning on the XP to be the all powerful, and those + - on comments are attached to the number of votes you have (although I think you get ripped off voting on a comment that way but haven't come up with a better way to limit those as well)

Requires group thought. All it takes is an check mark in the forum admin panel to turn it on. Easy to change what it is called as well....

If I get 2 more "Go For Its" then I will enable it and let the karmalizing reputation ensue.

Have enabled it a couple times and it is quickly taken down after.

The board does have it as a feature that we could name however we want, but it doesn't seem like it is a "Citadel Thing"

We could have a good rep and bad rep.

   For instance:
Favor of the Angelic Nymphs of Strolen's Drawer: +2
Favor of the Hateful Voices of the Webby Ether: +30

   :p
