Re: [AG Game Development] - Coldforged - Tracks of Desolation
#41Actually, all it might take is to alter the in-game statistics, not the graphics, of rivers when it rains - or the stats of water features when they're frozen. -

#42Yeah! Great. Keep 'em coming! Just got worried you expected studio Ghibli animations in this one. This is gameplay over graphics! ;) -

#43Case study:

This game has some similar ideas to mine. The game is clearly influenced by the Fallout series.
In my opinion this game also focus on gameplay over graphics. I will use this game as something of a comparison.
I will try to learn from their failures, and create a much, much better game. -

#44So, how's the game progress? -
Re: [AG Game Development] - Coldforged - Tracks of Desolation
#45Another hiatus, a most unwelcome one for I have time, but the missus has demanded that I make her a customer base program *yaaaawn* that she can use.
She is the boss and I estimate that I will spend 1.5 months writing the customer base and another month of no programming during evenings after that.
So: game postponed 3 months. -

#46This project lives yet again, but now I call it Coldforged Adventure since I lack a better name.
The old names I played with sounded incredibly lame. -
