A suggestion for steam punk themed prizes might be one of the steam punk themed rpg  books from drivethru rpg? (there's a bunch of them most gms and players would love for well under $10)

(Note:  I haven't voted yet as 13 subs is a lot to read through and decide on)

Good find and great idea! Consider it incorporated into prize selection.

   Thanks!

Glad you like it, might be a good idea to pm the winner before buying their gift though to make sure they haven't already purchased the book in question. (There is a sale on some of the steam punk books http://www.strolen.com/guild/index.php/topic,4682.0.html )

There is a Steampunk thread in Fields of Challenge, where Chaosmark (I believe) provided a really cool link to a website that has Steampunk items galore. As the second place winner, all you have to do is pick one (for under 35$) and PM me your address or PO Box, or whatever. Then a slight wait, and finally, BAM. Second place Steampunk Quest prize arrives at your door  :)

    Ouro- same, under 50$
    Kuseru- same, under 20$

Wow, completely missed this thread... Imagine my surprise when Muro tells me I´ve won a prize...

Thanks again, my friends. Compared to most of you, I´m a weed in a herbal garden, author-wise. The amount of inspiration I get from reading what you have written is just.... staggering.

This quest has been fun. I´ve never seen so many entries and of so good quality. It seems steampunk as a gentre is here to stay, and I rejoice. For my own writing (which is mainly revolving around steampunkish settings, Locastus included) this quest has been invaluable inspiration-wise.

I have a BIG piece coming up (and I do mean big). Bear with me, for I will post again.

    Your friend,

    David (Ouroboros)

I've discovered that the more experienced and talented you are in an art, the more you learn from others. Perhaps you should think about that, Ouro. :D

Well, one of the first and foremost skills of any authour is to learn the dark and secret art of stealing someone elses ideas...

Seriously, though, I´ve never seen an inspiration reactor quite as efficient as Strolen. If I get writer´s block here, I just browse other people´s subs for five minutes and then gets right back to writing.. It´s amazing..
