Steampunk Challenge!

1. Steampunk Challenge!

The thread title says it all.

What do we all think of doing a Steam Punk Quest? (Ouroboros suggestion)

If there are no objections, welcome to the New Quest!

The Quest will commence on Monday. Don your goggles.

Any sort of steampunk at all, thaumatech included, or just old-fashioned steamtech?

3. Re: Steampunk Challenge!

My vote would be for anything describable as steampunk :)

I am not steampunky so had to make up what I thought it would be.

I would simply like to say that, upon first reading the title of this topic, I thought it said 'Swamppunk.'

I don't know what that is, but I am in full favor it (Steampunk works too, though).

Include me in. All kettles at full pressure, captain! We've got enough coals to carry us around the world!

Yeah, I'd say any sort of steampunk. It is up to the authors, as usual, as to how they want to interpret the challenege.

As if the younger generation needs to speak in creole to be indecipherable...

This here does be the generic eBay steampunk listing. Goggles might be our best bet, honestly, but just in case!

NOW you tell me :P  I'd have pulled out a few more stops if I knew that!

    Ah well.

Okay folks, this was an excellent choice for contest. What do we do for an encore?

14. Re: Steampunk Challenge!

Hang on, not yet. Way too much collating & polling, to do still for this one. Another month or so of voting, I would imagine. (Heck, another month or so of reading! :p)

But if you must. Never to early to brainstrom I  guess :)

15. Re: Steampunk Challenge!

Ok, I guess we can go one of two ways. I can make a poll of Quest sub "finalists", that have a 4.5 or higher vote total, or we can do the "favorite 3" approach, assigning point values like we did for the last Quest.

16. Re: Steampunk Challenge!

    #16

I'd say we combine both, since there's so many 4.5-ers. 18, to be exact.

I count 13. It is safe to say that one of us is nuts. I hope it isn't me :p
