*peeks in*
#1So, I found this place thanks to the 5 Room Dungeon contest (quest). So far I am rather intrigued by the site. Its a very interesting concept really. I think I shall stick around.
Names Stomphoof. Hiya! :D Not much of an intro I know, but I hate doing these things :P I always feel strange, like I must somehow show who or what I am in a tiny little box with words *pokes at the boxes sides*
Ah well. Lets see, I DM D&D 3.5, I am in the process of building a campaign setting (first time I am nuts), I play World of Warcraft, Diablo 2, and a boardgame called Runebound as well :P I am male, married, and 25. Live in Orlando FL. Yea, there ya go :P
And cause I just read the guide *DOH*
How long you have been gaming and if you DM? I have been gaming and DMing for about 6 years now.
What kind of RP games have you played...any favorites? I play all forms for the most part. Tabletop its DND, console its Tales of Symphonia, PC its WoW
Perhaps tell us how you found the place? The 5 Room Dungeon Contest!
And I speak English.

#2Welcome to the Citadel!
We have a fair number of D&D enthusiasts here (along with some die-hards that make hex signs against the evil eye at the mere mention), so I hope that you'll find some interesting and amusing material here.
Let us know how your campaign setting shapes up! If you end up mining Strolen's for facets of your game world, we get all warm and fuzzy.
Well, maybe not fuzzy. -
Re: *peeks in*
#3Oh :( I like fuzzy things though! -

#4Welcome aboard!

Re: *peeks in*
#5Hey there and a heartfelt welcome!
The fine thing about this place is that it is systemless, meaning you can play DnD, CoC, WoW, Vampire or whatever and still find lots of stuff to your liking. Soon you will discover which GMs create your kind of stuff and which GMs are involved in gamestyles you do not appreciate. That is whats so nice about this place... The abundancy of material.
As for anti and pro DnD folks: Nevermind what other people like. This place belongs to all of us and systems really ain't an issue. :D
Welcome! -
Re: *peeks in*
#6Thanks for the welcomes! Maybe I will get around to posting bits about my world...*ponders* -

#8How long you have been gaming and if you DM?
Since 1997, and yes.
What kind of RP games have you played...any favorites?
All kinds of RPGs. I'll always be a sucker for Dungeons and Dragons because it was first. Played the most in Vampire: the Masquerade and associated WOD systems. Before DnD I was a tabletop wargamer that specialized in Battletech. As for consoles, I do the Final Fantasy thing, but most of my PS2 games are more racing games like Gran Turismo and Need for Speed.
Perhaps tell us how you found the place?
AOL search i believe, it's been a few years since I joined.
And I speak English.
me too!!!

Welcome aboard.
I think you are the first to read the intro request and your tiny box is fantastic.
Embrace the oddities and ignore the normalcy. -
