   As we stand right now, we have the current listings
   
   Citadel Home - Articles - Dungeons - Items - Lifeforms - Locations - NPCs - Plots - Societies - Systems - Forum Home - Gallery - Chat
   
   
   In my opinion, in v3
   Citadel Home should only appear on the Forum Page, Setting Pages, and Region Pages. In a setting or region, clicking the cores (as defined below) will take you to those inside the region or setting.
   
   The cores:
   Articles
   Dungeons
   Items
   Lifeforms
   Locations
   NPCs
   Plots
   Societies
   Systems
   These are all good.
   
   Regions
   Settings
   These should be there and should be are the basic ones.
   
   The Stacks
   This should lead to a page that gives us
   Folios
   Gallery
   Netbooks
   Fonts
   Old Quests  Added 07/02/07 missed it durring the first post
   Generators  Added 07/02/07 missed it durring the first post
   And possibly someday our Link section.
   
   The Stacks makes one sorting page and allows us to put somewhat important things on the top nav bar, without taking up too much "real estate" there. It follows our book theme as well, as it is the collection of our various data types.
   
   Forum Home: Replaced by some navigation link on the sidebar, perhaps the I am looking for community link.
   Chat: the same as forum home.
   
   So on the Homepage it would have
   
   Articles - Dungeons - Items - Lifeforms - Locations - NPCs - Plots - Societies - Systems - Regions - Settings - The Stacks  
   
   if could have the Citadel Home as well.. but that is a point I would not debate about.
   
   On a region or setting page,
   
   Citadel Home - Articles - Dungeons - Items - Lifeforms - Locations - NPCs - Plots - Societies - Systems
   
   The Forum Page would have
   Citadel Home - Articles - Dungeons - Items - Lifeforms - Locations - NPCs - Plots - Societies - Systems - Regions - Setting - The Stacks

   The top menu will be identical on all pages. Needs to be a constant navigation tool that is the same everywhere. It is the anchor of the site and all the different areas. Forum will be the same too.
   
   Home is just required as a standard. It is a "reset" button for people to start over with. Necessity.
   
   I don't like "The Stacks" as a name.
   
   I put library, but I don't like that either.
   
   I am not convinced Regions gains a top bill yet either, maybe top of the extra links. An issue to revisit once it is built.
   
   With everything going to the top, I am tempted to turn the right navigation into submission related stuff only.

   The Stacks goes with our book theme. The Stacks is where all those "other media" (magazine, videos, journels, etc, plus older reference books) go in a library.  That is why I used that term.  You didn't like codex in the begining, but you got used to it. Give it some time.
   
   About Regions:
   So if you don't put regions in the nav bar, where are you going to put them?  You need something to bring you to the index page. If you don't put them on the top nav bar, even with task pages, we might as well not do them. Their point is to be a quick and easy reference point for related submissions. If you don't have a quick and easy way to get to them, they become pointless.
   
   As to the top nav bar only having submission related things, that was my point of this thread. (Note: None of mine have anything except submissions.  Links to the chat and the forums, are in the Community Task Page (or one of the side bars), and the other task pages will help with those.
