   Um... Hi! I'm Nethray, and, though I have a name I use in the real world, that's all I can say - at least for now. I'm a very fun loving girl, and I also enjoy a good role-playing game, though I've never played stuff like D&D and such (My parents don't want me to get into stuff like that. Alas, they still feed this need by buying computer games, anyway :roll: ). I enjoy writing stories about worlds I've made up on my own, but I also love to draw. I wish to one day become a comic book artist.
   
   I like to role-play because I feel that it is a way to escape my life; a way to stop being plain old _______ (Though I'd put my name that time, didn't you?) and become a simple peasant girl suddenly faced with a daring adventure. Pirate ships and dragon rides: I want to experience them all! I want to feel my hair whipping in the gusts of wind created by the wings of a dragon; being soaked to the bones in sea water while fighting off a great sea-monster.
   
   Alas, how I crave to leave the drab life of a school kid and venture into a world of magic and battles galore. I want to leave it all behind, but I'm bound to a world of dull, dull schoolwork and sickening teachers. Wise, yes, but utterly sickening. Homework piled up day after day and nagging parents trying to pull me out of the rabbit hole... I stand here, ready to take on a world of adventure!
   
   By the way, I love the smileys! They rock heavy-metal!

   Allow me to be the first to welcome you to our mildly insane posse of crazies.  You might want to avoid eating anything, as it's generally laced with various psychodelics.

   I thank you greatly for being the first to greet me. I will be certain to have eaten something before entering this land so as not to be tempted into eating here. Alas, you can't blame me if the psychedelics part was not temptation enough.

   You'll have to excuse poor Pariah.  The food isn't laced with psychedelics:  We were all like this before we got here.
   
   The medication in the food was placed there by the government for our own good.  I would avoid the mushrooms, however.

   Ah, thank you, sir, for that clarification. Mushrooms I shall avoid, though now a paranoia has been unlocked due to the mentioning of the goverment being involved. Alas, nothing is perfect, but I am, indeed, glad to be welcomed.

    today sure does i'm new aswell but before i go any further i want to tell you that i have 7 years of rp experience and well i'd like to know the storytline of this rp and the character rules, and that beig said i'm not an amatuer at this bare that in mind.

    Yo.
    Let me clear up a (somewhat) common misconception.
    Strolen's Citadel, on it's own, is not a game, per se. It is more of a facilitator for games. People who attend this site are GMs or players of RPGs in real life, and we use this site for ideas for our games and game worlds, and to game online with others.
    The purpose of Strolen's Citadel is to be a site for the inspiration and discussion among GMs, as well as players, if they so wish.

    
    
    That said, in the freeform section there are any number of games run by any number of GMs with any number of different rules. You will have to pick a game, find the associated OOC thread with it or PM the GM.
