Year ago today

1. Year ago today

   #1

I just read through a quick post with a new comment and noticed that the comment date was almost an exact year since the last comment.

   Hmmmm.

First thought was to have a listing of what was posted a year ago today, which was quickly dumped because it was a little restrictive and went directly to a type of submission birthdays type thing.

Just a thought right now, but how about a frontpage list of all the submissions created on that day, or maybe limit it to a certain amount of random submissions if it is too many with the option to follow a link to view all the submissions.

Just one more way to bring some older submissions back to the frontpage for a little sun before they disappear again.

   Any thoughts on this idea?

I'm all for anything that gives older subs more press.
