   I think Manfred said it right in another thread: some of us are inundated with exams :( Mind you, I've got a three month holiday after that (our terms are very short!), so I should be able spare some time!

   Oh, CaptainPenguin, we forgot. Those that plunder the sea have no need for formal education.
   
   Exams are basically a written (for those that can read and write) review of the knowledge passed through formal, oral and written, teaching. There is a distinct difference from being sent on your own to do your first burning and pillaging since it often takes more time to prepare for an exam.
