What 'cha bringing?

What 'cha bringing?
#1No need for all of us to haul out all of our miniatures, battle mats, multiple copies of the same rule book, etc....
So do you have something cool that you are going to bring that we don't need to worry about?
Do we need other stuff that we may have overlooked?
Intention is to start a list so we are prepared, but not overstocked necessarily.
I have no idea what to bring. Not sure how much use my Palladium books are going to be. :) -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#2Well, I'm bringing my dice, not that it'll be enough for more than a couple of players (including me). Unless someone else is dying to, I'm bringing probably my 3rd ed D&D books, or some of them anyway. Some assorted movies. That's really all I can think of. -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#3Gamer stuff?
- Dice
- Pencil and eraser
- Perhaps some home brew stuff. Dunno if there will be time to indoctrinate you guys into the better way of things though. So I will probably end up playing some other, lesser system. :p -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#4I have a gridded map or two and a bunch of plastic miniatures. I never got into pewter or anything so what I have is scavenged from multiple board games like Hero Quest.
Dice - I imagine we will have fights over the touching of each other's die before the end of the weekend.
Computer/Speakers/Music/Blank DVDs
Would be nice to have a dry erase board or one of those free standing giant tablets for group notes and such.
When we know rule systems of the games that will be run, we can plan around that. There were some other suggestions about easier/other online systems that people like that I would be willing to study and learn prior as well.
Be happy to print/copy whatever is needed and bring it as well. Just send me files. -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#5goes without saying: dice, paper, pens, other RP stuff
non-game related: DVD's (about a dozen to auction off/hand out) and a few to watch
dry erase board: check!
free standing giant tablet: check!
laptop: check!
music: check!

Re: What 'cha bringing?
#9DVD burner, if we've got a comp I can hook it up to. Much music.
Also, anyone interested in anime? I can try to bring some of that as well. -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#10A small arsenal of Nerf weaponry, assuming I can fit it into my bag and that the airline doesn't freak out. -
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#11- books to be handed out (see past threads)
- dvd's to watch and auction off (i have no idea what I mean by auction off :P)
- laptop if necessary
- webcam, so we can look in on our friends across the globe!
- cool, funky digital camera, which I almost know to how to use
- car. You know, for going places and stuff
- pineapples and whip cream (ask Ria)
and finally, I'm bringing my indefatigable desire to make sure everyone is having fun!
(on a sad note, there is no way in hell, Con tees will be ready in two weeks, so you will receive them post-mortem, er, I mean, post-Con)
-
Re: What 'cha bringing?
#12Depending on how crazy things get, post mortem may be accurate. -
Re: What 'cha bringing?

Re: What 'cha bringing?

Re: What 'cha bringing?

Re: What 'cha bringing?
#24Teens vs. Zombies in the Mall was awesome Moon! And your enthusiasm is without a doubt infectious. I wish we could have spent a whole week at it so we could have played the other two games, and Nobody's game that he made 56 pages of notes on.
Ria's Call of Chthulu game had me freaked out when the projecter people popped up on the walls after we looted the projection machines from the cult's hidden sanctuary.
