StrolenCon Registration Fees ?

1. StrolenCon Registration Fees ?

I understand that they are somewhat the norm and many have a per game charge....

But for us and since we are small and getting donated gifts, I am thinking a NO on registration fees of any sort. The cost of coming is enough for most without more.

Sound about right to others or are there things I am ignorant about?

May I suggest that there be no fees this time around, but while on the con, bring up the subject of possible future StrolenCons with a registration fee: The fee will go towards a better Con experience; better prizes, better accomodation, food, a longer con etc... and all profit gained by the fees will go towards keeping and maintaining www.Strolen.com

What about donations? The Salvation Army way of funding good causes! That way those that have the cash can yield the cash, and those that have spent thousands upon thousands travelling can play without bad conscience.

Might I suggest we just pool the money for the room(s) charges and any conference room fees?  Thus the Con Experience is based upon what we use.

I don't know what kind of expenses we'll be incurring, so right now, I'm voting for combining Moon's and AG's things... we have a pool of money for stuff, supplied by people who can afford to donate.
