Never heard of those books... Made me look 'em up in Wikipedia. Sounds promising. You might just have recruited a new reader. When I am through, I will pass my judgment. ;)

Sorry, meant to post earlier. Looked these up and added them to my amazon wish list today after the recent post reminded me of them.

Strolen, when you read them, can you post up a mini-review?  I just passed on putting them on mine; but if they are good, I will add them.

Sorry i havnt been here in a while  :) Basically, the wardstone chronicles is about a boy who becomes a spooks apprentice, like an olden times ghost hunter and its pretty scary in parts eerm thats about it really but its very good in my opinion. The guild of specialists series is about two children who are trying to find their missing parents and end up on board the ship expident with their uncle, who is in the honoured guild of specialists, an organization searching out new technologies and things. they get up to lots and its all very good but i wont say more or i might spoil it.
