The web master of DF doesn't know I'm nominating the site, but I've found it to be the most professional and informative D&D site I've thus far come across. The primary thrust of the site deals with 1st ed. AD&D, but attention is devoted to the original D&D, the 2nd edition of the advanced game, and even the third edition (contained in its own forum). The message traffic on the forums has grown to a point where the forums have their own server.

Please give it a look when you have a chance: Dragonsfoot.org

Might just be Opera, but I couldn't click on half the links.

Gary Gygax is the editor of the Lejendary Adventures section.

I had no problems with Explorer, and the site is very nicely produced, very active and full of good material.

It definately does not work well in Opera. That in itself means the site is doing some wierd stuff with html and probably Java or Javascript that I personally don't like. Worked fine in Mozilla for me as well then. That aside...

I guess the only question with this one really.

Is it commercial? Nope. Everything is free as far as I can tell, and some good quality stuff!!!

I will give it a yes. There is too much for me to look at and when I am speechless then that is about enough.

Only took 12 hours to add my link :)

That is a good sign to me.

Ordinarily I'd be less enthusiastic about a site which specialises in a version of D&D which I don't play, but this one is so beautifully produced I think I'd have to give it my vote for the Seal. I like the fact that it has complete modules available, which would help starting-DMs, and though the Magic Items database isn't up and running yet I like the Spell section.

It's more specialised than (for instance) Strolen's Citadel, which is often a disadvantage. But what it specialises in it does very professionally, so I'd say it deserves the award.

    They've created a rules-light system, in addition to D&D.

So ya' don't like some edition of D&D. Deal with it!

Oh it's not that I don't like 1st Edition, I've just never played it. I know it's easy to convert modules into a 2nd Edition format. The only reason I mentioned it is that specificity can lead to a specificity of appeal and narrows the target audience (which is why Strolen's Citadel appeals to gamers from many systems, because Strolen chose not to specialise in any particular game system. Had he have specialised in Palladium, I'd probably never have even given the site a second glance, since I've never played Palladium). And as for creating a light rules section: that only serves to introduce another layer of work between you and the material they're providing: you'd have to become familiar with their system to use their stuff, whereas with Strolen's site you can just use anything in any game without conversion or learning a new system.

But like I say, it's a good site despite its specificity.
