   When the people you can are Hot Topic and TGI Friday's (and one quote contradicts the message of the other, by the way), I know that America's corporate culture holds patria potestas. It's only a matter of time until we get subdivided by Sony, GM, and Microsoft. I'm gonna' be living in the Federated States of Hewlett-Packard, subject to corporate law... Corporations will be like parties in one-party states- you get certain priveliges (like voting) if you are a part (corporation) member, if you can show your corporate ID.

   Hmm... Looked it up. While it seemed like a cynical "easy-sell" book, I think I am going to read it and remember the old days when I played  "Syndicate" and had a mighty fine time.
