Request:XP log
#1It would be nice to see what caused XP to change by day. Sometimes the number of updates is high enough I can't tell what was updated to change my XP. -

#2Well, he has a point Strolen.
It seems that we geek... I mean roleplayers are so fond of our experience points, that we want to use them everywhere*. Such a xp log, while trivial, might be just that cool little effect that makes people go tick-tick-boom.
*(remember that on your next date: On a successful flirt give yourself 5 xp, for each second of embarrasing silence, penalize yourself 1 xp :p). -
Re: Request:XP log
#3I actually get emailed a sort of XP log daily when it does the nightly updates. It doesn't itemize anything however and that might take a bit.
I like these kind of things because they usuall consist of isolated quick code with immediate results. This could be a huge maybe next week.
(Not sure how I missed this post, I apologize!) -
Re: Request:XP log
#4Not so easy and I am not setup as well as I thought for this.
To do this I would have to develop an XP tracking system from the ground up.
If I did this then I would simply track every single XP that is rewared, who rewarded it, what it was on, etc. Not too difficult all in all and then you could have the most insane xp tracking you could think of. By who, how, what time of day, month, through HoH, through votes, comments, scrolls, blah blah
Hardest part would be developing a comprehensive list of all the ways XP are rewarded. The XP awarding functions are mostly in a couple different spots so could put this together although this is a major feature update vs. a quick hack as I initially thought. Easy to start tracking, so I will probably start doing that soon...much harder to write the script that actually shows you the different results in a useful format.
