It seems I have this weird luck to stumble on good pages from time to time. Thus let me introduce...

General Starlight's Fantasy Roleplaying Game Page

The page has no cool design and no fascinating graphics.

Let us come to things it DOES have:

   - many, many, MANY articles to read!
Poverty Campaign got my attention as first.
   - much about adapting D&D, world-building, role-playing in general and DMing and coins and magic and...
   - the world of Orlantia, again with much resources

...just see it yourself. It is certainly a resource worth looking at.

Just plain and simple, honest and well done. Now facy shmancy graphics and noises and menus. I give it a big two flippers up! I wish I had thumbs....

The height of amateurish html. Goes back to the heyday when everybody had their own little crappy "this is me" page.

Blue background with blue links being my favorite. Thankfully it also has an animated gif otherwise I would have been thoroughly dissappointed. All links on a single page one after another. Too bad all the articles weren't there, that would have been ultimate.

Besides that DANG!!! Will try and look through more of the stuff before I make my final verdict...

After looking through the site, I have to say I'm fairly well impressed. While the layout is somewhat simplistic - and this is by no means a bad thing, sometimes I like being able to just scroll down a list and see what the site has to offer - the various article pages have a surprising amount of depth to them. I was actually rather amused by the one where he details the Imperial Standard of coins, their weight, size, and value, and comes up with why mithril is a silvery color.

6. How could one not vote for this site....

While I agree it is very icky in terms of looks, it is a great content site.

It has been added to slowly over the years. Now it is a juggernaught of content.

OK, I am convinced. Hail Mary---it just earned the Sacred Seal!

With its new web address that is.
