Test Poll

1. Test Poll

I just want to see if I can set a poll up for multiple votes.  This means nothing.

EDIT:  Looks like I can.  I'd still like a couple other people to help me test this.

So you can't make a poll where you MUST submit 2 choices? I just put in one.

Oh, and the answer is obviously blue.

Apparently, you can just pick one, but that's the only vote you get, so if you just vote for one...  Also, apparently, you can't vote for the same thing twice.

Here you go! This will give a list of who voted for what. Have to decipher it a little, but it is all there for you.

This is a secret script because I don't know how secure it is, so keep it in the admin area.

Just grab the topic ID number from the url.

Ahh... huh?  Explain again, please, because just clicking on the link takes me out to the index.  I'm trying to figure out if we can do multiple votes in case we decide to go that way on the quests.

It should take you to a text box thingy.

Input the topics you want to display the polls for in a comma (,) delimited format
(i.e: 1,5,99,2058,63940,2) (Leave blank for ALL)

For this poll, 3372, just put that number (which is the number of the thread and therefore the number of the poll) in the text box and press enter and it will show you who voted for what on this poll.

Something's wrong with either your link, my browser, or my account permissions.  Everytime I click it, it just loads up the index of the forum.  The link opens a new page, but the url automatically changes into the index url.

   ahhhhh, ok, try now

9. Re: Test Poll

   Nope.  Still index.

Well, then it is completely anonymous and at the end I can get who voted to do an integrity check. I will try and fix the permissions later.

The page is formatted in a nice table, but this is as it currently stands.

Cool.  Of course, it may end up being completely uneccessary, but we can always use more little things for our toybox.
