How about these simple additional rules since in the future this may eliminate all of us from voting:
   --------------
In order to win, you must vote.
You may not vote on your own submission.
   -------------

This will give us more votes and keep it fair. The authors should all be active enough to vote since they would have submitted something in the Quest time period, this quest being a notable exception.

I had hoped for a few more votes (hint, hint), but yeah.  Voting closes when I get on Friday night, which is usually about 1 AM Eastern Standard.

Not to rush, but if we get a winner I can figure out some way to automate the designation when I start coding for it. Much easier when I have something real to work with.

You'll have it Friday night-Saturday morning.  It'll only take me five minutes to figure it out once voting closes.  VOTE, PEOPLE!  *This does not apply to myself, Manfred, Scras, Muro, and Strolen, since they've already voted.

Voting's closed.  I would have closed it last night, but I forgot.

And we now have a winner.

First place in the Shards of the Storm Quest goes to St. Vedast's Zephyrous Icon.  Second place goes to The Fulminant.  Otherwise, if you have a burning desire to know where in the voting your submission placed, PM me.  Congratulations!

Strolen's Citadel inaugural Quest, The Shards of the Storm was an outstanding success. An impressive 39 quest items were submitted and each author took away an extra 10xp from each of those submissions.

Mathom Save Me! It took me long enough to announce the winner but the honour is no less now than the day it was decided.
Without further ado, I give you your Strolenite voted top two Winners:

The Strolenite Medal of Honour and 100XP goes to:

Dozus for Saint Vedast's Zephyrous Icon

The Strolenite Badge of Recognition and 50XP goes to:

    EchoMirage for The Fulminant

    Congratulations to our winners!!!

:what: I am both shocked and honored.

Thanks for voting, everybody.  Also thanks to everyone at Strolen's who made me feel so welcome when I first posted, which really wasn't that long ago.  Especially thanks to Siren no Orakio, whose Shards of the Storm item made the whole thing possible.

Thanks again, everybody.  Keep up the good work and continue to make Strolen's the great community it is. :D
