   Excellent Suggestions, all of them. This is the first time I have seen the HoH that large, but with more and more people it makes perfect sense to limit it a little bit more severly.
   
   I shall take it to the council. :)
   
   Personal Profile one is a winner as well. I have known for awhile that the profile will need some changes as the HoHs increase as well, and your idea is a great one!!!

   A suggestion, or two:
   
   The Hall of Honor, of late, seems to me to be... overflowing. Can we consider doing something such that Hall is not significantly larger than the rest of the visible suggestions? Perhaps slowing the speed at which poeple can vote for them? I'd like to suggest that an HoH suggestion be 'Halled' for two-three days, but that Votes should take one week to refresh.
   
   Also, can we consider adding a section to the personal profile where the user can flag 2-3-4 works of his own as 'personal pride' works, the works that he personally feels are amoung his best suggestions?
   
   Just silly suggestions, I know, but..

   HoH is 24 hours per vote, but I can see the need, in the future, to limiting them to a point. If everybody did use all their HoH points....well.....

   It could be a temporary bulge. I know I have not used my HoH votes on a regular basis because of the number of HoH in the list (until something is really worthy).  Certain people feel they must use them all everyday. And they hit the first things they see in the random or made that are "good".
   
   Perhaps you can't HoH something until it falls off the recent submissions list? That would force HoHs to find great things from the past (or recent past).
   
   Perhaps a reduction of HoH votes per person (and reduction of votes totals) might be rolled out... perhaps in stages to avoid people being upset by them.

   Yes, it is an inflation of HoHs.
   
   
   "can't HoH something until it falls from the recent submissions" - I'd say no. Many people, especially first posters are impressed by this. Also, many do not look much beyond the surface or recent stuff, or don't have the time.
   
   Reducing the number of HoHs sounds much better. Either reducing the count, or making the votes regenerate slower is fine. Even if you have the original count, but it is there for 3 days, or a week, it makes you choose much more carefully.
   
   
   Personal Pride is a great idea, too.

   Problem is this: Reduce the number of Hall of Honour votes, and you get an exclusive elite who is able to use them. IMHO not everyone in that elite shows the necessary restraint in their nominations. I exaggerated in the beginning, but that was just to boost the "old goodies" into their proper spot.
   
   Slower regeneration... That is the answer. I give that my vote.
   Hall of Honour nominations should, IMO,  be limited to once per week. Perhaps even once every fortnight

   I agree with AG, I think that the HoH votes should regenerate only once per week. It is very rare that I ever use all five of mine in one day, and I think I may have used my 25 regular votes maybe once, during the changeover deluge.

   I've used one of my HoH votes, and never all of my 25 regular votes.  So I think the idea of having them regen slower is very nice.

   It is good though, that is what it was made for!
   
   At least they only last for 24 hours each HoH vote, so it might be full now but it will probably fade through the day. Still...hmmm

    I think the most I have ever used of my 7 is 4, and that was during the migration. I think I have used 3 max since then, just because we have so many.
    
    The catch is, our rapid HoHer will then hit 3-5 more the next day, so the list is seldom empty, except if he takes a day away from the site. While it is what they are there for, it seems almost random what he chooses (seemingly what is cool on the random or new list). Sometimes he (and others) will HoH something while it is on the HoH list, so it stays up for a couple of days.
    
    If you made it votes PER WEEK (regeneate per friday night maybe?), or the votes regenerate every three days or so, it would make them more precious.

    The votes need to regenerate more seldom. The HoH list is insufferable.
