   A thread for anything concerning the useful Advice Requested section.

   I have created an item in the Request Advice folder. Then Chaosmark made an article and my item was suddenly classed as In Work(Public). I have edited mine back, and then was Chaosmark's post switched.
   
   We have clearly a Highlander section - there can be only one. :)
   
   Now, while a limit on this section could be useful, _one_ is perhaps too little.

   Found the culprit. Each person is only allowed 1 advice requested. In my script when I did the check I didn't check against author, just looked for any advice requested so no matter what somebody is getting kicked out.
   
   Hopefully I have corrected this. If I knew which one you were trying to put in so I could update it for you.

   Did a check with CP's western cache one (which I knew was in there previously) and it seems to work now. :)

   There's still the bug that allows our undefeatable Captain have more than one post in A.R.
   
   More seriously, there seems to be little movement in that sector - we ought to do more there! Also there are spooking submissions from long inactive users which are not likely to be updated any time soon... how about a rule that a submission un-updated, and un-commmented for more than two months will be turned into a normal In Work sub?
   
   
   We've got to get some fresh air inside.

   I think you'd get a sudden wave of ancient subs that are good but of which nothing more needs to be said, a veritable uprising of sleeping giants.  Now if you did something similar to subs that have never been commented or voted upon, then you might have something there.
