   Starting a little bit ago I have to limit my time on the computer even more. Promotion time is coming up and I plan on making it this time.
   
   To get a promotion you have to score points. You get points for:
   How long you have been your current rank
   How long you have been in the AF
   How good your work reviews have been
   Two tests, one on AF heritage and another on your job
   
   In order to get promoted I have 9 volumes of 200+ pages that I need to basically memorize because I have to score ubergood. I have only been in the AF about 14 years and I have only had my current rank for 3 years. A great majority of those I am going up against have much greater time in both those categories so I have to catch up with the book work and score better then all of them. I missed it by 7 points last year so I have a very good chance. Plus it is upwards of a $500+ raise a month which would really come in handy. :) Plus it gets me out of my crappy ass job and gets me E-7 which puts me into upper management finally so I can stop getting dirty.
   
   So I am starting my concentration on studying and I must do it as hardcore as I can so please forgive my continued absences for the next month or so. Will pass on my test date when I recieve it so you have the timing better.

   March 17. A little breathing room since it could have been as early as the first week of February...which I got last year.
   
   This weekend will be super code weekend so if you have something you think can't wait for a couple months, remind me or bump topics or even consolidate them if you have a moment. Will take care of everything I can...including some high request items like hopefully pictures in posts.

   I got an interview today. A big job opportunity and if they like me, I might be very, very absent from febrary 15th and onwards.
   
   It is an application development position using C++, C#, Java and Lotus.
   
   *inhale* *exhale* *inhale* *exhale*
   
   Yes, I am a bit nervous.

   THE dream job! Remember if you can't think of anything to say, make fun of a facial feature of the interviewer. They love personal, degrading jokes!!!

   Got through the interview floating on my charisma and good looks. My credentials were good too and they are going to send me an offer. If I accept I will be coding stuff for the IMF, the world bank and Swiss banks.

    I have officially made Master Sergeant (E-7) and will actually get the rank sometime early next year....and the pay raise which will ROCK!!!!!!
