More than lag

1. More than lag

   #1

I am having problems manuvering on the Citadel. I am clicking links and nothing is happening. I am watching IE's status bar go to about half way, then finished. The transfer says done.  I had noted this problem before, but it usally resolved itself by trying again. Last night it was worse than ever, and today I am having great difficulty.

I am not having an issue on the Forum side. I checked for lag. My connection is not notably slower than normal. There has been no change in security or firewall status on my end. Never had this problem this bad before.

Next time you happen to see that, on the main citadel take a look at the bottom footer and see what the CPU load is. I think the server is a dual processor so anything over 2.0 would be high stress and might explain it a little. If that continues and the high stress is the case that would bring my fear of requiring a server or VPS into full fruitation.

I will try and watch it too. It mostly happens to me when I do a search with 3 letter words or less. MySQL does NOT like anything with less than 3 letters unless it is an exact match to a submission. That is something I need to fix on my side.
