Scroll Bug
#1I can't add Scrolls to my works. I've clicked the Scroll radio box, and been trying for awhile now.
The problem seems to exist only when I copy/paste something from notepad, though that may not be a bug.
In case it's needed:
OS: Windows XP
Word processor: Notepad
Browser: Netscape (Mozilla is not working at the moment, and Internet explorer is anathema to me, this computer, and the site, so I can't check and see if the problem lies in the browser.)
Moonhunter has graciously attempted the same, on the same item in question. He used the same, though internet explorer instead of netscape. -
Re: Scroll Bug
#2The only Scroll I found of yours is http://www.strolen.com/content.php?node=667 and it seems like you have added quite a few scroll comment to it.
What exactly are you trying to do with it? Give me an example of what you are trying to add and what happens to it please and I can try and find out what is happening.
Thanks -
Re: Scroll Bug
#3I was actually referring to this http://www.strolen.com/content.php?node=1993
I have some of the Items I want to add in notepad, but the site when only accept them if I hand type it, as opposed to copying from my word processor, so I suppose this could be a security measure instead of a bug. -
Re: Scroll Bug
#4It should take it.
So, you just copy/paste and press SUBMIT_SCROLL and nothing happens? Just refreshes the page from what you can tell?
If you would, please copy and paste what you are trying input into here so I can see it. Hard to trouble shoot with what I have so far.
Thanks, and sorry it is being difficult. -
Re: Scroll Bug
#5It's no problem
Here's the scroll
War Thurible:
The Knights of Grace and Mercy favor show over stealth and practicality. While their shining armor, and sharp, gleaming swords are more than enough to make grown men cry like babies at the sight, Oz Nero wanted more. Always having favored the flail, Nero turned to the villages that lay burning in the Knight's wake. Smoke would be key.
The War Thurible resembles a flail, with the metal ball on the end studded with tiny holes, and a small hatch resting opposite the grip. Incense is placed in a small, internal holder, and then lit when the Knights ride into battle. The burns green, with the scent of grapes.
In order to compensate for the holes, War Thuribles are thick, often made of lead. This often increases their reputation as slayers of foul and unnatural creatures. This ireputation is somewhat unfounded, as few Knights have actually seen the beasts of lore, and are instead deployed to bully and police the Tarrani population.
