Quest Questions
#1It seems that it has been fixed :)
I guess another background for the quest had looked better ;)
Beside that: I notice "Nobody" has posted lots of submissions in answer to the quest. Perhaps the Quest maker ought to have a choice between limiting user posts to 1 or many?
Should the quester get full XP if the post is really short?
Should the winner get an award? -
Re: Quest Questions
#2Limiting Users:
I say no. If they want to flood the place with posts, then why not? If it doesn't fit the quest I will make available an option for submissions to be removed from the Quest and they will lose any Quest XP, no big deal.
Full XP if post is really short:
Yes. Why not? (will qualify this answer below)
Winner get an award?
Sure. Bonus XP and some kind of recognition I would wager. A notification on that post that it won the "blah" quest with a link or something. When Kate gets around to it even a small graphic icon or something. (or if anybody has or knows somebody with artistic skills that can create some icons)
At the completion of the quest the person with the highest average votes wins. ?
Should just anybody get XP for a Quest just for submitting anything?
NO. Since it is a quest I think that it would be appropriate to require an average score of 3 to remain in the quest. It is a quest after all and if you submit crap then I don't think you should be able to 'complete' the quest. Could add a nightly script to run through the active quests to see if any average score is 2.9 or lower and remove it (and the Quest XP) from the Quest. It would remain as a submission of course.
