  1. Codex Specific Submission?

OK, because of all the crap I mean solid submissions that aren't great, but are still good...you know what I am talking about. The submissions that make good forum posts but struggle as real submissions.

    Was thinking....

    We have a Codex.
We have submissions in a Codex of which are normal submissions viewable from anywhere. (Codex Children for discussion)

These Codex children that are good as a group, but suffer as unique submissions.

How about create yet another (no groans) type of post. Ones that are only visible with the Codex. And these submissions, along with the King, would all share any Vote XP they get. So, instead of voting on ALL the different submissions in there, you vote on the Codex itself and all Codex Children would share the XP (whether it be just a smaller amount of XP each or whatever).

You can still add normal submissions in there, but the main point is to allow mediocre submissions band together for a cohesive scroll and sink or swim together as a whole.

That would allow us to justify bringing in some of the weaker things that are crap standing by themselves, but when veiwed as a Codex whole they really aren't that bad, they help the entire Codex.

Also, these submissions may be too small for a Idea Scroll but not big enough for a Codex.

The other option is to stop making these below par submissions full submissions and just suck it up and make them Idea Scroll posts. I think I can make any vote on an Idea Scroll worth more than if you voted a comment up or down. That way they would get a little deeper look when the vote counts.

Just trying to think of something to help out these solid 2-3 sword posts. Then again, they might be just fine as submissions. I am tired after all and am posting this directly before I go to bed for another 12hr day at work.. :)
