   The User CrimsonShadow has recently begun lurking perpetually on the chat. He logs in and can spend forever there, idle and not responding to anyone. I've seen many Strolenites log on to chat with him, only to discover that he is not online at all.
   
   To be quite frank this bothers me so I kick him when I discover that he is lurking. Unless restrained, I will kick future users who are obviously not on the chat and who have not been so for hours and hours. In the new chat this is a feature and, given permission, I'd like to code in a 1 hour idle max limit into the old chat too.
   
   This is most unlike other users, like Siren, who indeed lurks but who will respond at some time. This CrimsonShadow seems to log on at school or something and then forgets he was even online.

   Not sure, but I think I made an obscene time-out time so that we can stay in there for hours at a time checking in as I am wont to do. In the old days when I could code I would dissappear and come back and catch up with the conversation. Others found it useful that way as well which is why it was upped.
   
   The option to view previous chat should make that meaningless though so one hour is fine, can always /show and see what we missed or whatever.
   
   I am easy, popular preference is my guide.
