The Swamp of the East is a deadly area where when people go in they don't come out...

The Swamp of the East is a very large place, on the eastern borders of Caladin it is home to ogres and other beasts rather not told of. The orgres being stronger then the rest there live in fragmented clans, sometimes leading raids against the Caladin Knights. The Swamp hides things, magical items and dead people, it was once where a battle had been fought with mages against warriors and none had left the field, that is alive. Many heros fell and they left their magical items deep on the bottom of the swamp where creatures protect them.

The battle fought here was thosuands of years ago between the ancient Kasmir and the dark elves of Salinin, which is an island that is situated between the Camalini and Sadkilliki continents in the black sea. The Salinin traveled to the Kasmir and fought, but no matter what happened the Kasmir beat the Salinin back with their powerful magic. The Salinin desperate to win designed their own magic into a magic braclet, which could stop all magical attacks and while doing so absorb the magic and twist it giving energy to the wearer. And so they went to battle and the Salinin King and the Kasmir Lord met in battle. They could ended up killing each other and both armies withdrawed.

And now what the Swamp of the East is, is just where a massive battle was fought and over time the smamp has formed and have become a refuge for the ogresSuggested submissions to be used with this setting. (Will open in a new window.)

For things on that go to the item menu on the "Braclet of Salinin."
