That runty little fucker has now moved past my point of tolerance.
Now what I would like to do is to ban his ass straight off the Internet.
But in my opinion, this is the last thing we should do. Why? Because doing so would:
A. Lower us to his level
AND
B. Legitimize his action with our reaction.
So... What should be done? -

I'm sorry I left.
DL is in 7th grade. It has never really roleplayed, just posted in some games on a forum. It is worried about peer preasure. It is a little snot. And you all just let this little kid get to you.
He got defensive and worried about how gaming makes him something. You all got bent out of shape. You should of just ignored him and gone on doing something useful in the chat or forum. Instead it was all "you're a troll" and "Piss Off". Which of course will just make anyone feel happy and want to be a good poster.
Remember how bad Kalibar (who is about in the same boat) when you interacted with him the same way? It was only after we smoothered him with Kindness and REally Helpful Comments that he stopped being really annoying and just shifted into being a really bad player (who hasn't realized it yet).
Those two should of just logged off the chat for a few minutes. Then D-L would of gone away, just like Kalibar does, and they could of had it back.
If we have not banned Kalibar, why ban this kid? -

#3The chat annoyed me greatly when I read it. I do not want stuff/people like that polluting the Citadel. I was ready to take the mighty axe to him this morning but I barely had enough time to eat breakfast yet alone to do the things I require of myself to ban somebody. Notably a PM and a chance at response. I have learned to temper my decisions with a little time, but time this time didn't do much for it.
I don't think I would put Kalabar on this level at all. I don't see that comparison except at a theoretical level that isn't displayed here. I won't stand for this and I believe in the give an inche take a mile. If we (I) let this go unchecked it is . Kalabar never went where this dude went.
So I will write a firm but polite PM telling him of things his parents should have taught him and give him a warning about future actions.
