   A ring which makes anything nothing rapidly.
   
   
   A small unadorned silver ring of a human form. No one knows who made it or which hoard it came from because anything - or anyone - who puts so much as a hair through it instantly becomes exactly nothing.
   
   Magical Properties: This item is cursed.
   The wearer becomes nothing and the ring falls to the floor (or wherever) with a noise similar to the noise the wearer would make if they fell onto the floor from that distance.

   A final note concerning this thing - it would make a world's atmosphere deplete rather rapidly - creating a constant draft towards it, as the air in its loop becomes nothing. So, if anyone just hedld it to his skin, it would suck his skin in, and through the hole everething.

   You could make it like a miniature atomizer so anthing going in from one side gets sucked thru and spit out the other side at an atomized level. This way you could have the great sucking but what would it matter if the air molecules were seperated into.... air molecules. Now your finger being sucked in an scattered about as molecules might be a problem. As for why it was built.... well, it was all the queen's idea. She was tired of the drains in the royal kitchen getting clogged with table scraps when the cooks were washing dishes so she commissioned a garbage disposal ring which was glued into place inside the drain pipe. The glue came loose and the ring/garbage disposal got swept away down the drainage pipe and into the river where it was lost for 500 years until one day it was found by a nosey Hobbit....
