   The Horseman's Axe's heavily curved blade is good for delivering crushing blows from above when used on a horseback.
   
   
   As armor improves, impact weapons, maces, war hammers, and battle axes becomes the weapons of choice. Wealthy adventurers can afford a more esthetic weapon, like this axe. The long back spike is excellent for penetrating armor. The heavily curved blade delivered crushing blows from above when used on horseback.
   It has goldflaked ornaments curling up its sturdy oak handle. A good grip and good balance is one of its finest attributes.

   The side arm of any brave adventurer. This stiff bladed, single edged, dagger is often the last resort in close combat. A thrust through the visor or a chink in the armor of your opponent is often the only way to bring them down. The fluted grip and hexagonal guard and pommel make an elegant addition to the belt of show-offs.

   None.

   Um ... I think we all have the basic idea what a dagger is. Why did you feel the need to illustrate the most basic of these weapons?

   Why 2? Because it doesn't do anything silly or overpowerful. It's well written, with good use of imagery, spelled correctly (dear god, how I, no WE, appreciate that), and is creative even in it's basicness.
   
   Your submission is good, but plain. I look forward to reading some of your ideas for more special things.

   Thats the idea, it is suppose to be plain.
   I can bear a low grade, it is a small sacrifise to make for the cause! And what is that you ask?
   It is to make as many plain items as possible!
   This place needs something opposed to all the munchkin items posted over the years.

   There is a difference between items and things on an equipment list. You have have listed an item that is on the equipment list of EVERY game on the market. Other than length, what does your post have to offer than the one line and possibly the image on EVERY GAMES equipment list?
   
   Every item does not need to be POWERFUL... EXOTIC... MYTHIC, but it does need to be interesting or useful. After all, if the item is not useful in some way.... why did anyone take the time and materials to make it? So just another dagger from the equipment list fails the interesting criteria. The Dagger worn by a hero of old and was used in a tale of note (even though it has no magical or bizzare properties) that meets both the useful and interesting criteria.
