    Node Tracking

Basically it is a natural, automatic type linking structure that occurs by how people browse the site. As any registered user browses the site the last submission they view is kept track of throughout the site. When you go from one submission to another you create an automatic connection between those two submissions. As more people move between those two submissions the link becomes stronger.

There are no privacy concerns as the links are tracked only as links with no personal information with them. Nobody would know that you looked at this and then that since the only tracking will be done on the actual submissions.

So you can purposely link one submission to another by just going back and forth between them a few times.

A list of these links will show up underneathe the comment section.

visit www.everything2.com for the principle in action. That site is down for me right now though. You can do a search for softlink for their description of it.

So this is the same as Amazon's people who have bought this book buy these books? Or the imfamous, people who have bought this book have also bought socks.

So at the end of a post, there will be an entry

If you liked this post, other people who have viewed this post have viewed....

I am assuming that this will work for anyone viewing the site, rather than people who are logged in. If it does not work for everyone, I will say HECK NO. If we had more membership I would say yes because the statitically wierdness would all even out. If it working for all the lurkers, then I have a maybe.

I am still voting no. Lets actually used planned links.

I go with moon, for the moment, for all his points ;)
Perhaps in future, such a thing could be considered.
