   Keep it or get rid of it?
   
   I put the small box that holds the summary. Found that quite a few posts have stuff in the summary that is not repeated in the main posts.
   
   Different format? Change it? Get rid of it?

   I had been treating the summary as a kind of preview of the main post. In the main post I tried to expand and detail what was in the summary to give the reader the overall picture. Is that how you'd like it done, or like some of the other posts I've seen where the summary is repeated word for word?

   The summary should not have anything new in it. You are using it how it should be used. I usually just copy and paste from my main submission and put it together to form the summary.
   
   There are many other posts where the summary holds stuff that is not mentioned anywhere else in there main post. There have been comments on submissions saying this as well. A comment will mention something that was written in the summary but when you look at the post, it is not there and you have to go back to see the summary to what was written.
   
   Just trying to test some different ways to make sure all the information is on the view page no matter how the submitter actually wrote up the submission.
   
   (Very easy to put it in a take it out, that is why I threw it up there for a sort of test)

   Sometimes I don't put the same thing that's in the summary in the main post, but usually the summary doesn't have any important info in it. I use it mainly as an attention getter.
