   Well, jumping onto the site, as I get to do quite rarely nowdays with further education and what-have-you, I was scrolling through the new submissions/comments and spied the comment in this particular character:

   Now, I thought I'd modify the Barbarian horde post to say "I promise to learn to spell and not to spam abuse anymore - Edited by Shadoweagle"
   or perhaps "I am an illiterate moron who can't respect other peoples recreation - Edited by Shadoweagle" , but I realised I'd never before had to edit something on the main page, and so have no idea if I CAN, let alone how to do it.
   
   So, first the question is - could that rude post be modified or removed, and the request is If admins ARE able to modify the main page, how can we? And if we are able to, could I get a quick crash course? ta :)

   I wish I had read this post before I did one of my own. The posts went down hill quickly. I deleted all the offending posts and the member comments pertaining to them.
   
   If you have to think about should the post be purged, it is better than even money that you should, so you might as well purge it.
   
   Should we be censors? No. Should we delete really assine posts. You betcha. Good Taste should prevail. Are we perfect about this? No. Should we at least try? Yes.
   
   Am I in the minority here?

   There shouldn't be a need for a tutorial though, if you can edit/delete it there is the [ EDIT ] link next to it just like on your comments.
   
   If you don't see this on every comment there is probably a bug.
   
   As far as barbarian horde is concerned, I have no problem with anybody doing whatever you think is appropriate. If they don't take credit for what they write then I don't feel obligated to protect it.
   
   If you are going to edit the entire message and translate it, better that it just dissappears.
   
   When it comes to actual user posts, well, have to take that one as it comes. I don't like messing with those if I can help it.

   No bug, you were just never an admin. I guess at the time we just gave you full priviledges. So that was fixed.

    Just remember to try and not DELETE THE SITE. We have had that happen once to often. So lets not repeat that learning experience.
