   Need an ignore script that just removes all his posts for those of us that can't take it.
   
   Him and Greccio grate on me but I will not ban somebody for being annoying as much as I sometimes want to.
   
   Can you resist the pull of his ignorance?
   Can you laugh at his stupidity instead of joining it?
   
   His power of the inane note and the thoughtless comment are legendary and only the most powerful can resist the pull.

   I don't think Cap is very happy I am back, and I don't think saying I was hit by a parked car is very funny.
   
   Adel is the only sain one in here, and I wish the rest of you were more like here, just so I could be the only odd ball in this site^_^.
   
   And cap, I know you'll never change but at least try and calm your temper alright. The way you defend scras is like scras is your husband or something.

   I feel like i've just picked up a dirty, soggy, lukewarm dishcloth and put it somewhere else on the bench.
   
   Im going to point out a couple things in this post of his, and yes, these thoughts could be interpereted in several different ways, but personally I think that they are (even if subconsciously) what I post as follows.

   Overly critical and stating the obvious.
   He knows the captain won't be very happy he's back, and he knows that the 'parked car' thing was a joke and meant to be taken lightly, but he picked at it.

   I actually find this to be a bit offensive. Not because he is saying we're insane, but because the context suggests that if you don't welcome him back with open arms and show sympathy to him, you're abnormal.

   The worst thing you can say to someone who has a temper is "you have a temper" or "calm your temper". (not to suggest you have a temper, Cap! :D)
   Saying the captain won't change is also another stab at him, in my opinion. And then theres the whole 'husband' comment, which i'll go a bit further on:
   
   To my knowledge, Scrasamax and Kalabar did not know each other, or at least havent talked to one another. The captain gives one sentence in his defence ("Hey, don't you tell scras to shut up!") and Kalabar jumps on him. Personally, I think its just because its cap'n.

   Suggests the captain ALWAYS sides against Kalabar to back up Scrasamax
   "Like he's your husband or something"
   Suggests the captain is either feminine, or gay. Both powerful insults used by teenagers these days! :P
   
   NOW!
   I know you may all think im reading too much into this, but I think that Kalabar - at least partly - meant what I brought up. I think he wants the abusing to flare back up, and I think he even enjoys the flame wars. He says how much he loves this place, but when he was here before, he only posted in one or two un-noticeable roleplays and didnt contribute anywhere else.
   
   Personally, I think if Kalabar isnt reigned in a bit, we will have arguments to the scale of the 'magus/Kalabar/Penguin Triad wars' within the next week or two.
   
   After posting all that, im still going to say don't ban him or even PM him with a warning. Simply, let him run his course, but the second he falls out of line, slam him with a "1 and only 1 warning" PM. The millisecond he falls out of line again, slap a fortnight ban on him. If he comes back and does it again, no need to send him another warning PM, just give him a months ban. Double the ban every time he falls out of line.

   Its not the pull of his ignorance, so much as the potential abuse of his words. I could ignore his bad posts and bad roleplaying like i could ignore a bit of sandpaper rubbing softly against my skin - something I'd rather not experience, but can easily bear.
   What I can't resist replying to, is if he ever insults someone. I'm a very empathic person, so whenever I see an insult, I basically see it as directed at me. But since Im not the most stupid person in the world, I'm usually able to find a loophole to turn that insult back on them, or just cancel it out.
   
   Can you laugh at his stupidity instead of joining it?
   Its hard to laugh at someone who just spat in your face.

   Anyway, the point im trying to get to beyond all of this, is that I dislike Kalabar as much as - or more than - the captain, and can't wait until he slips up. Please keep an eye out for when he stumbles on his dribble.

   I find it quite easy to just ignore him, although he isn't directly attacking me, although I don't do anything to instigate him as well.
   
   In this case CP did jump in where Scras could probably have handled it a little more elegantly, but not with the panache that the penguin has. So Kal trolled and got a hit really.
   
   Kal, with nobody to play off of with his trolling, would soon despair and either go too far, and I would ban him, become productive, which is barely possible, or slowly dissappear into history.
   
   Ignore him, it is the only thing that can help.

   Every time we have ignored him in the past, he has gone away. I do not expect this time will be much more different. Instead of accepting his flamebait, either just delete it and move on (especially if it disrupts the flow of an informational thread)... or leave it there and ignore it.
   
   One time he asked me why no one respond to his post, I told him that they weren't worth responding too. He went away soon after that. He thrives on the chaos or gets a thrill out of getting a rise out of you. He is like a kicked puppy, any response show you are interested in him... so he will do anything to get you to be interested. Since he can't generate quality posts, he has to resort to flamebait.
   
   YMMV, but that is my opinion on the subject.
