   Oooo! I am the first one to bitch at this...
   So: look at some of the posts that actually don't get stomped by angry forum members...
   
   So, he can Bash, but can't do Tactics or Strategy worth a dime, right? And no, he can't speak any language, does not have a history, and frankly, I could not care less about some RuneMidgar...

   What is Rune Midgar? Sounds like you took names from Final Fantasy games and pieced them together.
   
   There is no story to him. Where was he born? What does he look like (What do you mean by "tempered")? What is his age and nationality? Where is he a general? What makes him interesting? Why would we want to read this?
   
   Please understand that we aren't being mean to you. We are trying to help you become a better poster, and to improve the quality of your posts. I'm sorry if we come across as being harsh or mean, but so far you haven't improved, and some people have behaved in ways which haven't been helpful to you (i.e., me, Echo, Scras; in fact, we've really all been a bit unhelpful except for Moonhunter).

   So Matthew was a general, where was he a general, what sort of troops did he command? Did he lead an army of brash knights clad in heavy mail, or footmen with spears and hope as a shield? How did he come about being a general, through a stroke of destiny, or just through steady advancement and good leadership?
   
   Destiny is a powerful force, more powerful than any physical force, or element that seeks to oppose it. He is destined to save the world, but from what? Demons, monsters, dragons, the basic and vile evil of man, or must he in turn save instead from himself?
   
   The Claymore is an interesting choice of weapon, large, powerful, and intimidating. It seems lacking that such a leader of men and chosen of destiny wields a mundane sword, not even notable enough for being quality in construction, or materials.
   
   I do not understand how someone can seem high-tempered, I would assume you mean that he has a bad temper, and is quick to anger. Perhaps he is very strict, the epitome of the merciless general, willing to sacrifice every one of his troops to achieve a goal. Perhaps, he is just jumpy, and constantly hounded by omens of his destiny...perhaps his destiny involves his willing death, and he is desperate to cling to life. What sort of attire does he wear, the armor and cloak of a common soldier, but with a few pieces of flare to mark him as a general ala Maximus in Gladiator, or does he strut in the full regalia of polished chrome armor, bedecked with lace, and silk, and accoutrements of wealth and power?
   
   So Matthew is an ex-general. What happened that caused him to leave the military? Could he have left of his own volition, renouncing his rank and command, or was he discharged, expelled for cowardice or blatant disobedience. Perhaps the high command is corrupt and evil and he must thwart them by winning back the respect and command of his men.
   
   While we generally shy away from system statistics, there is nothing wrong about posting a list of his skills, but it seems odd that his only listed skill is bashing. Is this because he eschews the use of weapons and only carries the claymore as decoration, or does he possess some sort of magical power attack that can only be released through a physical strike? Does he have other skills, or has he gained, and lost his position through simple skill with his fists?

   We should always try to be helpful, critical only in the aim to improve the post... not bash on the person who did it.
