   The other one got into details needed a more broad overview... that was easier to read and is pretty cut and dry.
   
   In order too I think.
   
   1. Name the company
   2. Build actual website(s)
   3. DBA or Business License (Partnership/LLC/whatever. needs to be decided)
   4. Buy reseller account
   5. SSL / Merchant Account
   6. Decide if we want to sell domain names too.
   7. Go Live and see what happens
   
   Each step is quite involved as well, but are the major strokes that need to be accomplished without getting bogged down with details. I miss anything?

   I don’t know what is involved with selling domain name (aside from the obvious). I recommend that we put that one on the long term goal list and concentrate on just hosting for know. At least until we get the hosting thing up and running with a system to manage it.

   Domain selling...dotster does and so do some other people. They allow you to sell them from your site with all the same stuff, just with your brand on it.
   
   Hosting matters, if requested, will simply register the domain for the person and basically manage it for them. They pay the cost, but they do all the registering and messing with the account. Many people don't know anything about buying a name and would rather not have the hassle. If they ever leave or cancel we just tell them the password of the account and let them do as they will. That is how my host does it right now and that is very simple.
   
   But there are quite a few sites that allow the selling of domains from your site.
